Purpose for which samples have been taken Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India Page 63 of 248 When a Medical Device Officer takes a sample of a medical device other than medical device specified in proviso to clause (iii) of rule 70 for the purpose of test or evaluation, the Medical Device Officer shall inform such purpose in writing in Form MD-36 to the person from whom the sample has been taken and shall tender the fair price thereof under a written acknowledgement.
