Change in constitution In case of change in constitution of a licensee, after grant of licence under sub-rule (4) of rule 20 or sub-rule (6) of rule 20 or sub-rule (1) of rule 25, as the case may be, the manufacturer inform the Central Licensing Authority or the State Licensing Authority, as the case may be, within forty-five days and shall make an application under sub-rule (1) of rule 20 or sub-rule (1) of rule Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India Page 31 of 248 21, as the case may be, for grant of licence within a period of one hundred eighty days from the date of such change in constitution: PROVIDED that the existing licence shall be deemed to be valid till such time, a fresh licence is issued or application is rejected by the State Licensing Authority or the Central Licensing Authority, as the case may be: PROVIDED FURTHER that if the application is rejected, the manufacturer may appeal to the Central Government or the State Government, as the case may be, within a period of sixty days.
